LS1 and LT1 4L60E tranny - how different?

LS1 and LT1 4L60E tranny - how different? Well, I've got a built 4L60E in my LT1 right now and am switching to a LS1 engine/harness. Do LS1 trannies work in the same way that the LT1 trannies do? Can I just hook it up to the LS1 harness and expect it to work? Or do I have to repin the connector? I just want to make sure.
I've got a custom convertor built that'll allow the use of a 700R4 with an LS1 but the 700R4 I have is busted. I'd rather use the LT1 4L60E than rebuild the 700R4 'cos I can tune it easier and don't have to bother with modifying the throttle braket to accept the 700R4 cable.
