changing stalls!!

Default changing stalls!!

my motor and cam and rear were all made for me to run a 4400 stall in my t350, would it be any diff if i went with a 51-5300?? and yank said the 10" are better than the 8's and their going to stop making them becuase they were not as efficent... the the 10's have better ets?? im not sure about the specs of the cam becuase i got the motor a few months ago but been trying for a few months to get my papers for cam specs flow numbers and everything like that so now since its been so long, i doubt they have the right flow/cam specs thanks for the input

IMO, unless your spinning to 7500 rpms, you don't want a stall that large. You want to match your stall to the meat of your power band. If you're peak torque is say 4500 rpms, you'd ended up flashing to 5100 and miss it. This is how I understand it, I could be wrong.

what about the 10" stalls?? and which brand is showing up better et's yank or ati?? thanks

i went from a yank 4400 to a turbo action 8 inch and picked up et and mph...go with a ati 8 inch i shift my car at 7000 7200 with a t rex and stock heads i love 8 inch verters...i have a 5500 ati verter and im a cam only car...a friend of mine is running a 8 inch verter in his si car and loves it..for a all motor setup i say go with the 8 inch

i went from a 9 inch yank 4400 to a 8 inch turbo action..picked up a tenth and 2 mph..
