Billet OD Servo problems in 4L60E

Billet OD Servo problems in 4L60E I installed one in a newly rebuilt trans but the trans would not shift into 4th. The trans builder thaought it was causing the problem and changed it for a Corvette servo and now it works. Has this happened to any one else I'm stumped.

Billet servos can cause component breakage, but what I don't understand from this story is the actual "corvette servo" is a 2nd gear piston. 4th (or OD) is a different piston. So all I can figure is that something might have been misassembled, and during the corvette servo install, go reassembled correctly.

seent that also. did a 4l60e in a truck that wouldn't shift into od. found 4th servo was misaligned and going sideways not allowing od. polished on the pin and inside piston and fixed the problem.
