4l60e or turbo? i have a 99 s10 xtreme. it weighs about 400 less than a normal camaro. i was gonna drop in an ls1/4l60e in it. custom headers, exhaust, trex cam, p&p heads, under drive pulleys, no ac 4.11 or 3.73 gears and tuning. wat i was thinking was around 450 at the crank but after looking at the stuff im thinking itll be closer to 500. which brings me to my tranny, i was gonna run a 4l60e because of the ease of the swap since i already have one in my truck. of course it was gonna be built to take it but the turbo transmissions seem like a more reliable tranny for higher horsepower. thanks.
