Default 4-2 downshift causing issues with new transmission

I have a transmission with the best pro built package. It was installed by someone in AZ however. The clutches and 3-4 band went out and zpac's were installed. I then bought it from him. Its vacuum modulated.

My problem was when I was going 60 and punched the gas. I know this is bad for it but i didnt plan on doing it all the time. Just checkin things out since its newer. i have already broke it in. anyway, the shift was hard and felt great but after that it just made a loud noise and I let off. I did it again to see what happned and it did it again. from a stop this didnt happen and also if i pulled it down into 2nd and punched it and shifted up to drive it didnt happen.

I never really plan to do this anymore since i know its bad. but I seems to be a problem there and I dont want it to be an issue somewhere else later.

Did it make the noise right after going wot or say half way through the gear?

4-2's are rough on even the built 60e's. My trans its self is stock. even with the psi bumped up it still has the "turbo lag" effect when going wot from a 60 punch. Normally i'll pull down into 2nd then go wot to avoid the delay, slippage wear.

its started out ok and shifted good and just after is shifted, say 85 it started doing it. Would you say that could be from lack of line pressure? Maybe I have a leak in my vacuum? thanks
