FTRA and trans cooler

John's method looks equally effective but I think the dope style was just easier to rig up. I'm running a B&M 19,000 GVW and I'm seeing tranny temps of 170-190 depending on how I'm driving. <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0"> <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0"> <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0"> <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">
I put a 24,000 B&M to cool down my TH200.
Well about two weeks ago my 1-2 shift went soft.
The anchor pin that holds the second gear band sheared completely off and the extra heat cooked the 3rd gear clutch packs.
I don't know accurately if this was all due to lack of cooling based on location, but I am adding another cooler and putting them both in front of the condenser.
You can never be too cool.

I should add that I used to have a T56 in there so I never had an existing tranny cooler to run inline with the B&M like most A4 swapping guys do.
