So here is the deal. I bought an A4 car in September and the transmission went out shortly thereafter. So a friend of mine took it to his tranny guy and had him rebuild it. So we put the transmission in the car, and guess what, it is worse than before. The tune was messed with right before the tranny went down the first time, and I think it was messed with while the car was down (long story). So I am hoping it is the tune. Gomer is coming to check the tune out tommorrow, so I should generally know then if it is the tune or not.

Here is the symptoms. The car won't shift at all on its own. It uses 3rd gear and 3rd gear only. The only way I can get it to use 2nd is to manually shift it, and it won't use 1st or OD at all. Also the speedo reads about 2 times my actual speed. So what do you guys think?
