what is involved in converting a 4wd 4l80 to a 2wd besides swapping the tailhousing?

The output shaft also has to be replaced. Be carefull! there are differences in design between year models. Make sure you get the same design shaft.

l also believe that a lube hole must be drilled. l can find out if you are interested.
