I use to own a '86 T/A and had to manually lock up the conveter for the computer wasn't doing it for some reason. Anyway, on the 700R4 tranny they had a feature built in so that in 1st gear it couldn't lock up the converter. I'm curious, on the 4L60e's in the LT1's and LS1's is this the case as well?
