Default yank guys get in here

I'm looking at a good deal on 3000 yank. Here's the catch. It's out of a 99 Hummer H2???? 278 mm, 3000 stall, 2.21 STR, That's all I know. I don't know what series it is and the guy is saying it's only good for 99 plus 4l60e's? I have a 98 SS and have always been told trannies are the same form 98-02.

Will this work in my car. I just got married and my wife won't let me spend the money on a new one so I have to get while the gettin's good...yoiu know.

Thanks Fellas

The 4L60 in an F-BODY is the same input shaft for 98-02. What input shaft was used in the Hummer, I don't know. Call Yank and ask them.

BTW, how much does a H2 weigh? I'm just wondering how much abuse the lock-up clutch was subject to.
