m6 to th350! I am looking to do a m6 to th350 swap in my 00ss camaro. I know the crossmember has to be relocated or buy one for a th350 swap, also I was planning on keeping my stock torque arm for now so I was going to use a tailhousing and output shaft from a 3rd gen with th350, that is unless it want work or someone has any other suggestions. The question I do have is do I need to use the tci flexplate and can any th350 converter work with it or does the snout of the converter have to be specially made (extended). Also what do I need to buy to be able to keep the speedometer working. The trans will be full manual so no need to worry about kickdown cable. Any advice, suggestions or pictures appreciated. By the way I tried to use the search option, but it doesn`t seem to be working.

Performance trans in Clinton did mine. Call Jay Billingsly and he can help. The TCI flexplate is a very nice part. I used a BRM crossmember on my swap. The converter will need to be built for an LS1. This is not a problem. I have the VSS stuff in the 9" th350 tail shaft and it works great.
