fuddle review
Hi all,
Just got my firebird back after two months of being in the shop. I have only driven in about 3-4 miles in the rain, but i have to say i love this new torque converter. Its 3400 fuddle 2.1str the street one i think. But it rocks. Its really loose with low throttle but i dont care.. i like to step on it and its a very rewarding feeling :-) Once your up to speed it maintains speed like normal. going up hills requires more throttle and it keeps the revs higher then normal. Anyrate I love it overall and wanted to thank John/Melissa for their timely responses and all their help. 2 thumbs up for fuddle.

Cool. Im getting ready to install mine in about a week(3400 2.1). Did u put a shift kit in? Im going with a b&m shift kit and 3:73 gears. No more 2:73s! John(from fuddle) was a cool guy to deal with.
I installed my Fuddle 3400 2.1 w/ a B&M 24,000 cooler a couple of months ago and I love it too. I have driven it about 40 miles around town. I do hit the rev limiter now, but a tune will take care of that. I am most likely just going to get a mail order tune to adjust the shift points and rev limiter. I must say I am most happy with being able to do an awesome burnout now from a dead stop. I don't even touch the brakes. I just gun it and I am able to lay down some hellacious marks. And that is w/ 2.73 gears and 275/40/17 tires. I am going to get some Nitto DRs in the Spring though so I can race people and get a nice launch.
I cant really comment about how fun it is on dry pavement my 50 mile journey was in a horrible snow storm. I gave it like half throttle to three quarters throttle from about 50 and the tach went up to 4500 rocked me back in the seat and it felt pretty good... but i think i had wheel spin too. roads suck, wont really get to drive it again till late march.
Artic, what part of grand rapids are you in? I had bobs transmission on plainfield install my converter.
I use to see a white Z28 for sale on plainfield at that auto parts store.
