How often??
How often?? Should I change my fluid and filter every year? The trans was rebuilt last year and I have alot of $$$ in it. I take it to the track at least once a week everyweek during the summer.

If you're racing every week, I'd be changing it more than once a year. Do you have any kind of trans gauge where you can monitor the temps? If yes, then I'd say every other month during the summer, a little less often during the winter depending on how hot you see it's getting. If not, I'd go with every month during the summer just to be on the safe side. My thought is I'd rather change the fluid more often than not enough and be running fluid.
There are probably some people who race every week like you and only change it once a year...but I'm on the paranoid side about it after going through 2 tranmissions and realizing that they all died because of overheating issues after installing the 3rd one. (The tranny temp gauge didn't get installed until the 3rd tranny because that was the one with the aftermarket tc.)

i race about every other weekend and i change mine about every 3 months and even when i dont race that much i still change it every 3 months basicly i try to do it when i do the oil, you know get it all in one shot type of deal
