Bent pushrod, SES light, Bolt ons, and drag radials with a 1.74 60' = 12.22@113. Sounds like a winner. I daily drive this converter and I bought this particular converter for the tightness.

If you get a tune, to adjust lockup, it makes the conveter a lot nicer on the street. It is a little loose, but, I don' t really have a comparison to offer. You WON'T forget it' s there, but you will know it is, when you romp on it. At the track, at least get DRs. Street tires, like was already said, is a HUGE waste. My brother just went from 2.73s to 3.73s and we just installed his SS4000, and he still isn' t sold on those gears yet. A night at the track could change that, but, he misses having longer legs on the freeway. He tells me from a roll, the car just won' t downshift into second, because the gears are too short, and isn' t sure he likes 'em.

I love it enough that I had a second SS3600 installed in my FLP 4L65E Race level 5. After you get used to it, it's like it's almost not there. Get anything less and you'll always regret not getting one. I have been on a 10-bolt with 3.73's and heavy duty Eatob posi with MT ET Street radials, tread is gone 'cause I jerked it off. In my A4, the 10-bolt has held up well ... going to a Strange 12-bolt this month, though ... been back-ordered since 11/17/2005. Get the YankSS3600 for the Street and Strip.

It drives nicely for its performance. You'll notice it less as a DD if your exhaust is not super loud.
