4L60E question, dealing with differnce in years

starting to look for a stall for my 94 4l60e, and i notice that alot of the ones for sale on here and other boards are for newer cars and trannys. just wondering if i can use a newer stall in an older tranny.

no you cannot. you need to find a stall suitable for a 93-97 4L60E becuse the tranny input shaft has a different # of splines
