Shift Kit???????????
Shift Kit??????????? I am getting ready to install a 2800 TCI lock up converter and was wondering if I get a MADz28 or PCMforless tune will I still need a shift kit? They have the option on there order sheet to tell what kind of stall and they also have the option to increase the shift firmness. With both of those checked would I still need the shift kit? I am putting the stall on a used tranny and dont want to dump to much into it because I am building another tranny for when I start spraying the car. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.
I ordered my mail order tune from PCMforless.com today and he said it should work fine without having to install a shift kit. I am not sure how the tune will work but I can say I am already impressed with the customer service. The tuners cell phone number is on the site and he took time out of his weekend to answer all the questions I had.
