Stripped my sunbox the guy at the dealer says. It was under warranty so Its all good now........but it will be comming off of warranty pretty soon, and the price it would of costed without it scared me to death. I was wondering if there are any websites, books or refrence materials that i could use to learn about the internals of my transmission. I would like to be able to do the work myself, as i saw that the parts were way less than the labor.............

Thats right....stripped sunbox, loose framous clamp for sure.


I had that happen once, my girlfriend wrecked her car, I pulled the trans, my framous clamp BROKE so I needed the parts. I used the two broken ones to build a good trans.

I ended up putting my johnson rod in her sunbox.
