TH350 and poly mounts question

For those of you using a poly mount and TH350 in an LS1 F-body, did you have to alter (saw/grind the "humps" off and NOT use the flat plate) the poly mount to achieve proper fit like you have to when using the poly mount with a 4L60E? I know I had to do the mod to get it (poly mount) to work with the stock crossmember and 4L60E. I'm going to a TH350, BMR crossmember and would like to use a poly mount. Anybody had any "go-rounds" with this?

i want to know also, but im just going to fab up my stock crossmember and use that one instead

i just bolted it on without using the plate. no other modifications to it. I left the plate off for lightweight purposes.

I tried the plate, got some nasty NVH, so I pulled the plate and noticed less NVH. I havent cut the bumps on it. Straight install. Yes, TH350. As its been a few months and a few thousand miles, less NVH, so now that I am used to it, it wants to decrease in its intensity.
