Default i need detailed instructions

i need detailed instructions on how to remove the A4 tranny out of my 98 z28. i have searched and found some what decent directions but it seemed like some stuff was missing.

also i have no connections with a lift so what is the best way to get that thing out of there.

What would a tranny shop charge to pull a tranny and replace a few clutches i it and put it back in.

sorry for all the questions but i need to pull it out becuase the guy that rebuilt it siad that he would put new clutches in if i pulled it out.

If you don't have the tools to do it, pay a shop to do it for you. Don't take a chance with an automatic. I'm sure you can find a shop to R&R the transmission for about $300 as long as you can guarantee that you won't be long getting the trans back to them for install. They won't want your dead vehicle blocking their lot for a week waiting for the transmission from an outsider. Most transmission shops won't do the R&R for a trans they didn't build. Good luck.
