Default A question for John at Fuddle

Well I received my converter in the time you promised, I'm happy with service and your answers to my many questions on choosing my TC.
Now a couple more.
1. Do you recommend a break in period, ? and if you do what is it.
2. I'm having a sponsor do the install along with a tranny cooler.
I scheduled a dyno run and dyno tune, That is a good thing to do right?
'cause if they do a dyno tune, I'm sure the break in peroid wont be reached,
3. Also do you recommend synthetic, or OEM tranny fluid for your TC's
I'm sure these are questions many here would like to know.
.
.
.
.

And Last, but not least, Can you make the SNOW go away??? We are up to our ***** in the stuff?
And it's supposed to get down to -20 degrees F. tonight.

I wont speak for John, and its best you call him direct. He made the effort to call me in Australia last weekend - so if that aint being approachable and top customer service, I don't know what is.

As for me, no need for a break-in period. Check with John, but most converters come shipped with a minimal smear of tranny fluid covering the clutch lining. I filled up my converter with fluid about an hour before the install - thats all the prep. you really need.

I installed it, drove out of the driveway, and left trails of smoke and rubber in my wake. Been solid ever since. Converters generally aint locked up at WOT so you wont be breaking anything.

I used full synthetic in my tranny since the converter. Never seen more than 80*C in the tranny (190*F).
