But then again, I won't know that for sure, as I think my speedo needle will be sitting at 0 from now on.
there are parts to make the speedo work.
dont half *** it.

Yeah I know there's aprts taht will"make" it work, but everyone I know that has actually done the swap, cars I can actually see, it won't work. I may try to hook it up by the abs wiring off one of tthe front wheels, I hear that is supposed to work fine when I pull the abs out of the car.. but not until then. I'm not pulling a brand new tranny apart to put anything inside it.... I'm sure that would void the warrenty, and I'd much rather have the warrenty good then the speedo working. I probably don't want to know how fast I'm going anyway LOL.

Where can one find the parts, or a walkthrough, to do this?

There is no real walkthru.. I have the part #'s for the needed GM parts that "should" make it work, but I have been assured by the guys I deal with that it's not going to. After doing more research, it seems like the abs sensors fire the same way the stock speedo did, so hooking up to one of those is bound to do the trick and get it working.... and I will be doing that once I have the ABS removed from my car.... unless at the same time I go to a painless wiring harness, in that case the factory dash is gonna be pulled and I'll make a dash plate with guages.. but I doubt that a speedo will find it's way in there... that's the least important thing as far as I'm concerned.

ive seen several topics on here about it, also jags that run has some stuff on their site for some ideas, but i wouldnt buy it from them.
EXTREMLY! high priced, IMO.
yank did offer something at one point.

i use a VSS from a 91 caprice in my th350, with a BOP tailshaft, but that would be the wrong signal for the 98+ cluster, as i run a 97 cluster that will operate without the BCM(no serial data AFAIK 97 and under)
mine reads 3mph off, and thats cause i got a 28" tire. gears inside are for a 26" reads perfect with a stock tire.
no ecm, no bcm here and its working with one wire on a 4000ppm signal.
different model clusters vary, depending on v6, v8, year, etc.
