Default Beads

Me and a friend are rebuilding a TH350, and I have 4 beads in the valve body my friend says since I have a shift kit I am susposed to remove some of the beads but which ones do I remove? I dont remember the shift kit I got for the car. I put all the beads back as of right now but need some advice.

With all shift kits, you have to have the instructions in front of you and follow EXACTLY what they say. A missing ball or one in the wrong location can do very bad things, like cause a downshift when you expect an upshift.

Get the instructions, or buy a new shiftkit. I recommend Transgo.
