Default th 350/400 guys -- dipstick problem/question

I searched and did not find any answers, if this was discussed earlier I appologize

Well basically I'm wondering what the th 350/400 guys use for dipsticks on an LS1 F-car. I was using one of those flex dipsticks, but not only was it fairly short (had to reach under the passenger header to get to it ) but it also froze (the piece inside was plastic) and broke, so I tossed it. I can't seem to get a normal th350 dipstick in

So what do you guys use? How long (in inches) is the one you use? Got part numbers? What headers are you running?

Thanks a ton in advance

Did not know they had one that long, where did you pick it up from?

Great, thanks. Is the dipstick itself a metal? Or is it a type of plastic? I'm trying to stay away from the plastic type

The one I had must have been a cheap knock off then, because it somehow managed to freeze and break in half with 40 degree temperatures outside (back when this happened)
