Drop the transmission and dump it out. Otherwise you might be able to take it somewhere and get it flushed....
On my Dad's Uncles Stingray he had someone install a drain plug into the Torque Converter. That way all he had to do was pop the inspection cover on the bottom of the transmission and drain it.

that's what i am doing, i already had the tranny out and i was getting that burnt fluid out of it. i just didn't know if there was a certain way to tilt it or anything. but i have it sitting over a garbage can as of right now
You need to do it once, then take it to a converter shop for a rebuild. If not you're wasting your time.
If it's not a lock up converter you might flush it with mineral spirits.
Still not going to get all the garbage out.
Never ever put any solvent in a lock up converter.
