Question wtf is going on?

I have have a fuddle 3600 stall 2.4 str on an lt1 camaro w/ econo ported stock heads and intake along with a gm 847 cam (234int/242exh) along with 2.73 gears. for some reason i think its too big of a stall and it eating up my power. I mean i like the stall but i feel torque less. from a roll it will throw you back somewhat but from a stop i kinda just revs. I m installing a trans go shift kit too see if that help. any other suggestion would help.

Consider a gearing change?

Is the fluid level correct. Low fluid will make the car fell very slugish since there is less fluid to push. Gearing should not be a problem. Also, I would think the 3600 would be too much for a LT1 that torque peaks at 2,400 rpm's.
