Default Trans won't shift under wot.

Shifts fine around town. Hits rev limiter under wot. Won't shift until I let off. I think maybe the fluid level is low. I can't check it hot. When the car is warmed up to nomal operating temp fluid blows out of the dipstick tube when I pull the dipstick. Do you think a clogged vent could cause this? There is no metal in the pan, and the fluid looks good. Not burnt. Any ideas?

If it's spitting fluid out the dipstick tube, that sounds like maybe there's WAY too much fluid in there.

I found it. The vent tube got pinched in the torque arm mount. I guess when I put the converter in.
