my tranny is not shifting into drive, i can manualy shift 1 and 2 but no other gears. when i put it in d it will go to about 20 mph then rev all the way up, i was wondering if setting my shift points will fix this. My current mods on the car are
stage 2 heads and cam, 4:10 gears, lid, tnt 100 wet shot(havent' sprayed it yet) headers, x-pipe, ported throttle body, trans cooler, yank 2800, pullies, and hypertech.

no loco i am not, i wanna find out all the possibilites that can be wrong with it before i have it rebuilt or get an flp tranny

 

The trans is probably toast. Mine did the same thing, and luckily I got it warrantied by the dealer. At WOT it would also smack the limiter before a shift.
