Default Transmission Woes

The Dipstick tube on the tranny was being a PITA during the TC install. Of course now its leaking like crazy, about a quart over the last 45min. Whats all involved in fixing this? Probably taking the tranny back down and replacing the dipstick.....

You probobly have to take the tranny back down. When I was putting my tranny back in I forgot about the dipstick tube and it missed the spot in the trans where its suppose to go and I had to drop the trans again.

I'm just pissed b/c now everything has to come back down. Hopefully I can replace the seal by just lowering the tranny.

I guess im looking at either replacing the boot that the dipstick slides into or a tempory fix with some oil resistant silicone.
