line lock
that may be what some of you are thinking of.
a transbrake locks the transmission when activated.
so if you activate the transbrake in motion the rear tires will lock up if it does not break anything.

. As for the line lock, I see how it would not affect anything unless pressure was introduced to the lines before the button was activated. I get it now. its not fun spending money and time changing parts to just be "fixing" something, i want to get back in it and have something new done for my time and money!
Or will I get brake fluid all over the place?
I did mine just by unhooking the lines and installing the new ones and didn't spill much at all. But you still have to bleed the brakes.
The link in my sig on line locks has some info on bleeding brakes as well.
