now a transbrake accidently pushed while driving can be very bad.
that may be what some of you are thinking of.
a transbrake locks the transmission when activated.
so if you activate the transbrake in motion the rear tires will lock up if it does not break anything.

I've seen that before. No broken parts but definitely not funny. I think it scared the hell out of the driver though . As for the line lock, I see how it would not affect anything unless pressure was introduced to the lines before the button was activated. I get it now.

Do you have to bleed the brakes and everything of such sort when installing one or is it just pull off the old lines and replace with the new ones?

Or will I get brake fluid all over the place?

I believe that you do which is why I'm holding out until I get pads, rotors and steel braided lines.

not a bad idea, i need to replace my rotors soon ne ways... might as well do this, everytime something goes thats my cue to upgrade

its not fun spending money and time changing parts to just be "fixing" something, i want to get back in it and have something new done for my time and money!

Yes you do have to bleed the brakes.
I did mine just by unhooking the lines and installing the new ones and didn't spill much at all. But you still have to bleed the brakes.

The link in my sig on line locks has some info on bleeding brakes as well.
