cam and converter question
cam and converter question is the TSP XS Series Camshaft: Torquer 2 232/234, .595"/.598" Camshaft a good automatic cam? Can you just get whatever cam and then match a converter to it?
I was thinking the torquer 2 with a 112 or 114 lobe sep. matched to a 3500 fuddle converter.
Any opinions and input appreciated.

This is a question I'd like to have answers to as well. The converter I'm using now is about 3000 and I was wanting to go higher myself. I also planned on doing a cam in the future after the headers are installed, and the gears. I've just recently heard of the Torquer cam and would like more information on it myself.

Your stall speed for the converter is a function of what HP you make. The cam affects HP so you need to look at what HP and go with that. Basically you want to be 500-700 below the engine RPM at peak torque. So you need to dyno the car to get it right. This site gives you more info.
