Question Vig 3600 installed...questions

guys i install the 3600 today on my stock 5.3 truck with a 3.73 gear. I know its a lot of converter for a stock truck, but i am putting the 224/228 cam in this weekend.

Anyhow it feels like it is slipping through the gears and seems like it doesnt want to shift. What does this mean? It is gonna get tuned again, but will a tune fix the way it feels like it is slipping?

it will feel sloppy and shifts may be harder to detect, but not shifting could be your fluid level isn't right.

you def. need a tune..the TM on them trucks are BAD! and it may be ******* with your shifts and everything....but it should scream with that cam..i was always told that a 3000 stall would be plenty for a heavy truck..IMO but get some times posted after the install!

could the level being a bit high cause it to have weird shifting?

it is an 1981 c10 swb truck. it should run pretty good. It has been dyno tuned basically stock. But should i drive it at all like it is? I have to atleast drive it back to the shop for the cam swap this weekend.
