Slippage?
Slippage? I really don't know anything about Autos so here's whats going on...
I have a 97' Malibu that only really slips bad when i first start it up and drive it when it's cold *not outside. It will slip to the point of not moving however once it warms up then the trans will start to catch and move the car. Once its really warm it only slips very little. It also tends to slip more if i am giving it about 1/4 - 1/2 throttle. When i give it 3/4 to full it slips less. The reason I ask is b/c if it is just a pump or a little part inside the tranny i would preffer to just replace that vs buying a whole new trans but now that i think about it i guess it doesn't matter as it is FWD and the whole thing needs to come out anyway unless i am wrong...ANY IDEAS???
