Re: How much mph will a converter knock off You'll gain, not lose mph with a good converter. Reason why is you'll put the motor closer to maximum hp for a longer period of time over the entire quarter mile. Remember, he who makes the most explosions by the end of the race wins.

How much mph will a converter knock off Right now my car goes through the traps from 108 to 110 mph. I am getting close to putting in a Vig 3200. How much trap speed should I expect to loose if any? Thanks
