Just took the car to the track and my 3rd gear is not kicking in, it hits the rev limiter at 6800 and nothing is happening, I then let go of the pedal and the rpm drops and then it kicks in. What the hell is happening? I ran it twice on od and d. I hit 12.9 and a 13.1, same time I ran before I got the T1 cam and the LT mac headers, plus PCM tuning. Is the converter not locking up or what is going on? Any help or suggestions would help...I was hoping for low 12's possibly a 12 flat, but now this is really scaring me.

 

First, check the tranny fluid... with the car running. If it's not low then it sounds like you shift points are way off. I would get in contact with whoever did the programming.

If you happen to be using an HPP.. you need to take all the shift points back to stock.. get in some runs ..
