tranny Question

i am new to the ls1 thing and i am trying to put a stall in my 00 t/a a4 i need to no what tranny i have if it is the 60e or what and what the diff between lock up and non lock up?? thx

You have a ls1 style 4l60e, and you will need lockup too

thx. but how come i need a lock up if i do what stall is good for the car got some mods soon to put cam in it..

I dont know about stalls for cars, but Id guess about a 3600 with a decent cam maybe bigger (a car guy will chime in Im sure) and the lock up is for highway driving
