Actually alot of people used to swap to the Tralblazer torque convertor. I'm not sure how many people still do. Its a cheap way to get a higher stall. So its not bs at all. I dont know what they cost from a dealer but $250 doesnt sound bad. With people like Fuddle out there I dont see a reason for the TB convertor anymore. I have the street/strip Fuddle, but I think he just had a big sale for the lower end street ones. Which are still a great convertor. One other thing. Alot of builders restall the TB convertors because they are a smaller in diameter to begin with.
