car shifts strong and runs fine, no real evidence that something up except for this noise. low gear you hear nothing, every shift the noise gets a little louder and when you are slowing down and it down shifts into low gear you hear like a little growling sound. if i could best describe the noise it almost sounds like the howl that the rear end makes when you dont add the additive to the fluid but we have ruled out the rear end due to work that was performed today, also if you place your hand on the trans with a car on the lift and the tire turning you can feel the vibration that goes right along with the noise. i know it is vague but any help would be appreciated.
