Same set up here and I get 15 in town. Lost 1-2 mpg with the converter. Any higher stall is going to take more pedal just to get going - there has to be some loss due to the increased slippage.

My around town MPG suffered ALOT when I went to my Yank PT4000 but on the highway or anytime after it locks up, there is little to no change.

Just keep in mind when you are out running around part throttle that there will be more RPM until the converter locks. As long as you keep your foot out of it, your MPG shouldn't suffer much.
