I feel dumb for asking this but I can't seem to notice where the tranny cooler would be on my car. I still have the stock 4l60e and am purchasing the Speed inc tranny soon. but where wuld the tranny cooler be located? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Embarrassed]" src="gr_emb.gif" />

if it is inside the radiator then how would it cool the tranny? where would it cool the tranny from? let's say I was to install one, what connection would I have to make? thanks

 

the stock cooler is in the radiator, if you buy an aftermarket you mount it wherever and usually place it in line with the stock cooler.

 

You splice in to the return line to the transmission. That is the top line out of the passenger side of the radiator. Run in from the cooler back into the transmission. I would mount the cooler on the radiator in front of the center of the passenger side fan.

I assume you already have a colder thermostat and lower fan temps. That REALLY helps as well.
