advice on stall size

advice on stall size I will be getting a stall thrown in my ls1 soon and i just wanted to get some sizes cause i hear different numbers everywhere, lol.
I was leaning towards a Vigilante stall, maybe 2800-3200. i want the right one to fit my current mods and what the cars got in store. Mods are full bolts ons, rebuilt trans, fully decked race suspension and future mods are a beefy cam/heads, 12 bolt and gears and who knows what else. i have heard alot that if i go too small i will regret it and i have also heard its not good to go too big. i want the perfect size and i want it to be a street demon. i have had this mod in the back of my head and now its time to get it out and onto the machine! thanks for the input guys!

Mines a 4k stall with a TH400 in a bolt on LT1.
I originally had a 2800 stall with the 60E.
In my opinion go at least 3800 to 4000 stall.
I regretted not going bigger after the first stall selection, and my fears of 4k being too big were unfounded.

i dont plan on spraying the motor, i want to get a pretty big cam. something that will dominate on the street. and i will have ls1 speed install it for me with a tune
