Im not sure if this is normal or not, but my car refuses to lock-up for the first couple minutes of driving. I figure maybe the trans needs to warm up first, because it locks up fine after a mile or two.

Just looking for info on if this is normal or not...

 

You answered the question. It needs to reach a certain temp before it will lockup. There was another post on this recently.
