Default Built 4L60E tranny problems

Heres the problem... Put the car in drive it doesn't move. Jack up the rear end the tires don't spin. Rev it up 4 grand they hardly move.
Steps we took to try and solve this problem

1st Check tranny fluid level (checked out ok)
2nd take trans pan off to see if and crap is in it (checked out ok)
3rd take trans apart from bellhousing check to see if fluid was in the verter (checked out ok)
4th Bought a new verter to see if that was it (still didn't work)

Now I'm totally stuck. What the hell is wrong with my car? The trans has 120 miles on it. Could something of happened when the engine siezed up? (broke 5 rods)

Another question if the trans is messed up internally should I pay to have it fixed or should I get a T400? We are talking about 550+ HP in the car. I dont really want to give up OD in the car either.

Thanks for the help

Check the front pump in the tranny. When a motor or rear end siezes up it will sometimes blow the pump. And the symptoms are the same as yours,no pressure in the trans.Just above the shift linkage there is a little pipe plug, put a oil pressure gauge there, you should have at least 70 lbs at idle and over 100 at higher rpm. If not ,pump is shot.

I agree that you should check the front pump. What you're describing happened to me in my T/A.
