Default New 6-speed, Esclade, Corvette?

Exclusive of the bell housing is the new Escalade 6-speed auto the same as the Corvette 6-speed auto as far as ratios and strength go?

Anyone have the weights and demensions of T56, 4L60E or 4L65E for comparison to the 6L80E? As I remember my T56 weighed 137# and I have a 4L65E I can weigh so I guess all I really need to know is how do the demensions of the 6L80E compare to the 4L65E?

My 4L65E weighs 135#, the stock converter weighs 45# = 180#, so, the 4L65E weighs about 30# less than the 6L80E. Now, how do they compare in physical demensions? I'm thinking a paddle controlled 6L80E behind a lightly camed LS7 would make my little '88 M3 a nice street-stupid hotrodder's dream, although It will gain 75# above its current LS1/6,T56 arrangement.
