Been working on my A4. Its a C5 so I don't really have cost effective transmission options. I now have every single available heavy duty part in this unit and I have been very meticulous about building it as perfect as possible. Built with a feeler gage all the way. 100% thrust roller bearings. OEM 5 gear planets (not cheap imitations). Wide drum w/carbon band. Hard input shaft w/cyro drum. The Beast. All Alto clutches. All new full thickness steels that I polished and debured every one. New updated sprags. Case totally debured internally. New HP ported Pump w/every other mod available. Lot of misc valves and springs. All billet servos. All the best. Transgo stage 2 kit. I have well over 2 grand just in parts not including the Yank SS3600. Thinking about beefing up the case with a welded aluminum "outer skeleton" of sorts. I have heard the case can flex. I have a very thick aluminum after market pan that will really add strength. The case mod will look tricker than **** but is it necessary? Anyone ever broken a case?
