automatic shift kit or manual

Alright my question is about a manual over an auto. Now stock i know that a manaul is going to be faster than an auto. but are there any really good shift kits out there that will make an auto just as fast.

A shift kit alone wont make up for the difference. What ya need is a higher stall converter.

you have to be a really good driver to beat an auto stock for stock, i ran a 13.3@104 on a 2.0 60' on about the worst tires ever, on dr's i would hit 12's stock
