th 350 ?

th 350 ? Well tonight I was coming home and I was sitting at a red and when it turned green I started off and when it switched to 2nd gear the car made
a loud bang and it was loke my trans. was in neutral. so i downshifted
( 4l60e ) it out of overdrive into regular and still felt like it was in neutral.
So i downshifted again into second and it got back into gear. Finally i made it home and every time i had to stop and start again it would do the same thing unless i manually shifted it then it wouldnt do it but it would slip really
bad when i shifted to drive and then into OD. I think I am going to
do a th 350 swap but i need some help fast. I have found a tci th 350
transmission for $629 but i need to know what i have to do to make it work.

First, I'd start reading a bit on the sticky about TH400 FAQ's, that should answer a lot of your questions.
