Default Trans need rebuilt?

I just made a thread about getting a new stall soon. I was wondering, am I going to need to build up the trans a bit with a 3400 stall? Or would I be ok with the stall and a trans cooler and probably a shift kit to go along with it. My onl ymods are intake, exhaust, gears, and a tune. But Id like to go heads/cam by end of summer or fall. Eventually a while down a road spray it.

Sounds like you have the basics covered. What kind of miles are on the current transmission? If it has some good miles on it, it's not a bad idea to upgrade it now while it will all be apart. If your just going to put the shift kit in it would be a good idea to upgrade the forward and 1-2 accumulator pistons to the aluminum ones. Also I would consider a new seperator plate with torlon check *****. I do have these parts in stock if you are interested. Feel free to pm myself or just give us a call.
Thank you, Vince
