Do any of you A4 guys have any techniques for launching other just slamming on the gas?

feather it....punchin will just make ur rears spin....just practice at it...and for god sake dont try to shift ur tranny

W/ a stock converter I try to stall it up around 1200 on the brake and then roll into it pretty quick. I'm not just punching it but pretty close. I've found that I get less spin by doing this than trying to go from dead idle.
