Will The Yank Stealth 2600 Torque Converter Do Much? Or would the performance different be hardly noticeable?
I do want the car to drive as close to stock as possible.
So, how about an upgrade to 3.42's and the Stealth 2600
Or would it still drive like stock with a 2800?
Either way, should I dump my 2.73's for 3.42's?

Re: Will The Yank Stealth 2600 Torque Converter Do Much? The performance would hardly be noticable. Everybody who gets this converter upgrades later. A better choice would be the Stealth Thruster 2800 or 3200. These are what GM should have put in the F-Bodies from the factory. The 2800 is very similar to the converter that comes in the new Trailblazers so you know it's rock solid.
My personal favorite converter for feeling stock but delivering a nice increase off the line is the Pro Yank 3400. It would rock with 2.73 gears.

so i dumped that after a months time and got a 3600vig.. oh and i knew that was in the car <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> muahahhaaa
if you get anything 2800 wise get a vig2800
if you get a yank atleast get 3000+ stall
