ok i have a 98 trans am A4 shift kit etc.. 3200 stall all mods listed below.ok car drives fine shifts good ,but when i mash it to the floor from a stand still won't shift out to 2nd gear? check engine light is not on? tranny rebuilt etc..

i got same problem. waiting on an answer too.

 

I had a 95z with a TCI 3000 and it did the same, bounces off rev limiter then shifts after a few and sometimes puts the trans in default mode (2nd and drive only). I was told it was a problem that had to be fixed with the computer. As in sending it to Ed Wright or a programming place.

 

well let me know how you made out i have to go to thunder racing june 5 will up date site if prob fixed

 

is your car tuned for the convertor yet?
